Responsibility
- Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and calibration of manufacturing fixtures to ensure optimal performance and compliance with industry standards.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to fixture functionality, documenting root causes and corrective actions.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to test, validate, and implement fixture modifications or upgrades.
- Maintain accurate records of fixture usage, maintenance schedules, and performance metrics using digital tools.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and quality control procedures to minimize downtime and maximize operational efficiency.
- Assist in the setup and configuration of fixtures for new production lines or process changes.
- Conduct preventive maintenance and proactive troubleshooting to extend the lifespan of fixtures.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by providing feedback on fixture design and usability.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Associate Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of hands-on experience in fixture maintenance, precision machining, or semiconductor equipment support.
- Strong technical aptitude with the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and manuals.
- Proficiency in using calibration tools, multimeters, and other diagnostic equipment.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail in high-precision environments.
- Ability to work independently or in a team, with strong communication and documentation skills.
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with occasional overtime or shift work.
