This role is based in Canggu, with occasional travel to our other locations in Ubud, Denpasar, Jimbaran, Nusa Dua, Kuta, and Badung. We provide competitive compensation, professional development opportunities, and a chance to be part of Bali's exciting fitness tech revolution.
Responsibility
- Design, develop, and maintain engineering systems for our fitness facilities, ensuring optimal performance and reliability
- Collaborate with software teams to integrate hardware solutions with our proprietary fitness technology platforms
- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of equipment across all Bambu Fitness locations in Bali
- Troubleshoot technical issues and implement innovative solutions to enhance operational efficiency
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to extend equipment lifespan and reduce downtime
- Work closely with facility managers to assess engineering needs and propose cost-effective solutions
- Ensure compliance with local regulations and international safety standards for fitness equipment and facilities
- Provide technical training and support to staff on equipment operation and basic maintenance procedures
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in engineering roles, preferably in the fitness, hospitality, or tech industries
- Strong knowledge of fitness equipment mechanics and electrical systems
- Experience with IoT devices and smart technology integration is highly desirable
- Proficient in CAD software and technical documentation
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills in English; Bahasa Indonesia is a plus
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to travel between our Bali locations as needed
