Responsibility
- Lead and manage CNC manufacturing operations, ensuring adherence to production schedules and quality standards.
- Develop and implement CNC programming, setup, and machining processes to optimize efficiency and precision.
- Troubleshoot technical issues related to CNC machinery and implement corrective actions.
- Oversee team performance, providing training, mentorship, and performance evaluations.
- Collaborate with engineering and design teams to improve product designs for manufacturability.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry best practices in the production environment.
- Monitor and analyze production metrics to identify areas for improvement and cost reduction.
- Maintain documentation of processes, procedures, and technical specifications.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in CNC machining, with at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial role.
- Proficient in CNC programming (e.g., G-code, CAD/CAM software) and machine setup.
- Strong technical knowledge of machining processes, tooling, and materials.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- Proven leadership abilities with experience managing and developing teams.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across departments.
