Responsibility
- Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and grow a high-performing engineering team, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Technical Strategy: Develop and execute a long-term technical roadmap aligned with business goals, ensuring scalability, security, and performance.
- Product Development: Oversee the end-to-end development lifecycle of Affinidi Elements’ products, from concept to deployment.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product, design, and business teams to deliver solutions that meet user needs and market demands.
- Process Optimization: Implement Agile/DevOps best practices to streamline workflows and enhance productivity.
- Quality Assurance: Champion code quality, testing frameworks, and CI/CD pipelines to ensure robust, bug-free releases.
- Talent Development: Identify skill gaps, provide coaching, and create growth opportunities for team members.
- Stakeholder Communication: Present technical progress, risks, and solutions to non-technical stakeholders clearly and effectively.
Qualifications
- Proven Experience: 7+ years in software engineering, with at least 3 years in a managerial or leadership role leading engineering teams.
- Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of modern web technologies (e.g., React, Node.js, cloud platforms like AWS/GCP) and system architecture.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills with a track record of delivering scalable solutions to complex technical challenges.
- Agile Leadership: Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and DevOps practices.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal English, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Collaborative Mindset: A team player who thrives in cross-functional environments and builds consensus across departments.
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with digital identity, data privacy, or blockchain is a plus.
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
