Responsibility
- Monitor and analyze security alerts and logs to identify potential threats or vulnerabilities.
- Conduct regular security assessments, penetration testing, and vulnerability scans.
- Implement and maintain security measures for cloud-based systems (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Investigate and respond to security incidents, including containment and remediation.
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure compliance with industry standards (ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR).
- Stay updated on emerging cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies.
- Prepare detailed reports on security findings and recommendations for stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, IT, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in cybersecurity, IT security, or a related role (fresh graduates with strong foundational knowledge are encouraged to apply).
- Hands-on experience with SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar), IDS/IPS, firewalls, and endpoint protection.
- Familiarity with cloud security platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and scripting languages (Python, Bash).
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, CompTIA Security+, or equivalent are a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills to articulate security risks to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to evolving threats.
