Responsibility
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems to ensure uninterrupted resort operations.
- Develop and execute preventative maintenance schedules for all equipment, tools, and appliances to maximize lifespan and efficiency.
- Calibrate and test control systems, including automation and energy management platforms, to optimize performance and reduce costs.
- Inspect facilities regularly to identify potential issues and recommend proactive solutions to management.
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors for repairs, upgrades, or replacements of equipment, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inventory, and work orders using digital systems.
- Train and mentor engineering staff on best practices, safety protocols, and new technologies.
- Support sustainability initiatives by implementing energy-efficient and eco-friendly solutions across the property.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Diploma with relevant experience may be considered.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in facility maintenance, preferably in the hospitality or resort industry.
- Strong technical knowledge of HVAC, electrical systems, plumbing, and building automation.
- Proficient in using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) and diagnostic tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English (written and verbal); knowledge of Indonesian is a plus.
- Certifications in OSHA, electrical safety, or refrigeration handling are highly advantageous.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities with a commitment to teamwork and guest satisfaction.
