Responsibility
- Oversee daily plant engineering activities, including maintenance, repairs, and process improvements.
- Supervise and mentor a team of engineers and technicians to ensure high performance and adherence to safety standards.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and enhance equipment reliability.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential issues and recommend corrective actions.
- Collaborate with production and quality assurance teams to optimize processes and improve product quality.
- Ensure compliance with local and international engineering standards, regulations, and company policies.
- Manage engineering projects, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Analyze engineering data and performance metrics to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in plant engineering, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of engineering principles, maintenance practices, and process optimization techniques.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop a team of engineers and technicians.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to troubleshoot complex engineering issues.
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations, including safety and environmental compliance.
- Proficiency in using engineering software and tools for data analysis and project management.
