Responsibility
- Assist senior engineers in the maintenance, repair, and calibration of production machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Support the implementation of preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
- Monitor and document engineering processes, including temperature controls, pressure systems, and energy efficiency metrics.
- Collaborate with production teams to troubleshoot technical issues and propose cost-effective solutions.
- Participate in the installation and testing of new machinery, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Assist in the preparation of technical reports, diagrams, and documentation for engineering projects.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental (HSE) protocols to maintain a secure working environment.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying inefficiencies and suggesting innovative enhancements.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelorâs degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- 0-2 years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment, preferably in the food or FMCG sector.
- Basic knowledge of mechanical systems, PLCs, or automation tools is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, diagnostic equipment, and basic software (e.g., AutoCAD, MS Office).
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with HSE standards, GMP, and ISO certifications is advantageous.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including shifts, as required by production schedules.
