Responsibility

  • Assist senior engineers in the maintenance, repair, and calibration of production machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Support the implementation of preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
  • Monitor and document engineering processes, including temperature controls, pressure systems, and energy efficiency metrics.
  • Collaborate with production teams to troubleshoot technical issues and propose cost-effective solutions.
  • Participate in the installation and testing of new machinery, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Assist in the preparation of technical reports, diagrams, and documentation for engineering projects.
  • Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental (HSE) protocols to maintain a secure working environment.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying inefficiencies and suggesting innovative enhancements.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • 0-2 years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment, preferably in the food or FMCG sector.
  • Basic knowledge of mechanical systems, PLCs, or automation tools is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in using hand tools, diagnostic equipment, and basic software (e.g., AutoCAD, MS Office).
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Familiarity with HSE standards, GMP, and ISO certifications is advantageous.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including shifts, as required by production schedules.
