In this mission-critical role, you will be the primary guardian of energy efficiency and safety protocols on-site. As data centres require precise power management and rigorous safety compliance, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our infrastructure installation proceeds without downtime or hazard. You will work closely with MEP teams, site engineers, and safety officers to maintain optimal energy usage and adherence to international safety standards throughout the construction lifecycle.

Responsibility
- Monitor and record energy consumption patterns across various construction site zones.
- Enforce strict safety protocols related to power distribution, electrical tools, and heavy machinery operations.
- Conduct daily safety audits and energy efficiency inspections to identify potential risks or waste.
- Collaborate with MEP sub-contractors to ensure all electrical installations comply with project specifications.
- Serve as the first responder for energy-related anomalies or safety breaches on-site.
- Prepare comprehensive daily reports regarding site safety status and energy performance metrics.
- Participate in toolbox talks to educate site workers on energy conservation and electrical hazard awareness.
- Maintain documentation for regulatory compliance and internal project audits.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering, Occupational Safety and Health (OSH), or a related technical field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in construction site safety or energy management roles.
- Strong understanding of local safety regulations and electrical safety standards (e.g., DOSH requirements).
- Proven ability to identify and mitigate operational hazards in high-pressure environments.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence site teams on safety best practices.
- Proficiency in basic data logging and report writing.
- Possession of a valid Green Book (SHO) or relevant safety certification is highly preferred.
- Able to work effectively in a fast-paced construction environment.
