Responsibility
- Provide direct support to medical staff in the Emergency Department, assisting with patient flow and care coordination
- Prepare and maintain patient care areas, ensuring all equipment and supplies are ready for emergency procedures
- Assist with patient triage, documentation, and basic care under supervision of nursing staff
- Facilitate communication between patients, families, and healthcare providers with cultural sensitivity
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with hospital protocols and privacy regulations
- Support infection control measures and maintain a clean, safe environment for patients and staff
- Assist with emergency response procedures and participate in disaster preparedness drills
- Provide basic patient education and discharge instructions under supervision
Qualifications
- Diploma or certification in Nursing, Healthcare Assistance, or related field (minimum requirement)
- 1-2 years of experience in emergency care, hospital setting, or healthcare support role
- Basic life support certification (BLS) or willingness to obtain within first 3 months
- Strong communication skills in English; proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia or other languages is advantageous
- Ability to work effectively in high-pressure, fast-paced emergency environments
- Cultural sensitivity and experience working with diverse patient populations
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and assist with patient mobility
