As a Maintenance Technician, you will perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and emergency repairs to uphold the highest standards of safety and performance. Responsibility
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on elevators, escalators, and related equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues and perform corrective repairs in a timely manner.
- Respond to emergency service calls and troubleshoot malfunctions to minimize downtime.
- Adhere to safety protocols and industry regulations (e.g., ISO, local codes) during all maintenance activities.
- Maintain accurate service logs and documentation of all work performed, including parts replaced and time spent.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to prioritize tasks and manage workloads efficiently.
- Install, test, and commission new elevator or escalator systems as required.
- Provide technical guidance to junior technicians and support staff when needed.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in elevator or escalator maintenance, repair, or installation.
- Certification in elevator mechanics or a related technical field (e.g., electrical, mechanical engineering).
- Strong knowledge of hydraulic, traction, and machine-room-less (MRL) elevator systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical schematics, blueprints, and manuals.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Physical fitness to work in confined spaces, at heights, and lift heavy equipment (up to 50 lbs).
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel across assigned locations in Bali.
