Responsibility
- Operate and monitor electroplating machinery to ensure consistent production quality and efficiency.
- Perform routine maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting of EM equipment to minimize downtime.
- Handle and manage chemical solutions safely in accordance with industrial and environmental regulations.
- Conduct quality inspections and tests on plated components to meet strict industry standards.
- Adhere to all safety protocols, including PPE usage, chemical handling, and emergency procedures.
- Document production data, equipment performance, and maintenance logs accurately.
- Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to optimize plating processes and resolve technical issues.
- Participate in training programs to stay updated on new technologies and best practices in electroplating.
Qualifications
- Diploma or vocational training in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in operating or maintaining electroplating machinery or similar industrial equipment.
- Strong knowledge of electromechanical systems, chemical processes, and industrial safety standards (e.g., OSHA, ISO).
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and process documentation.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail in high-precision environments.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights (up to 20 kg).
- Familiarity with PLC systems, HMIs, or automation tools is a plus.
- Fluency in English (written and verbal) for technical communication.
