Responsibility
- Diagnose and troubleshoot system and PCBA (Printed Circuit Board Assembly) issues using advanced diagnostic tools and methodologies.
- Perform component-level repairs and replacements with precision to restore functionality.
- Support testing, validation, and rework processes to ensure product quality and compliance with industry standards.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to identify root causes of recurring technical issues and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain detailed technical documentation of repairs, tests, and modifications for traceability.
- Provide on-site and remote IT support for hardware and software-related problems.
- Stay updated with the latest electronics debugging techniques and industry best practices.
- Assist in prototyping and R&D activities for new product development when required.
Qualifications
- Proven experience (2+ years) as an Electronics Technician, Debug Engineer, or similar role in IT support, desktop engineering, or PCBA repair.
- Strong knowledge of electronic circuits, schematics, and diagnostic tools (e.g., oscilloscopes, multimeters).
- Hands-on experience with soldering, component replacement, and rework on PCBAs.
- Familiarity with testing protocols (e.g., functional testing, burn-in testing, environmental stress screening).
- Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware/software interfaces and embedded systems.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a methodical approach to debugging.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and BOMs (Bill of Materials).
- Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal) for technical reporting.
