Responsibility
- Diagnose and troubleshoot malfunctions in electronic equipment, systems, and devices using advanced diagnostic tools.
- Perform repairs, replacements, and calibrations on circuit boards, components, and assemblies to restore full functionality.
- Conduct routine maintenance and preventive checks to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
- Document all repair activities, including root cause analysis, solutions applied, and parts replaced, in a detailed service log.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify recurring technical issues and recommend long-term improvements.
- Test repaired equipment to ensure compliance with industry standards and operational specifications.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in electronic repair techniques, tools, and industry best practices.
- Provide technical guidance and training to junior staff or support teams when required.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in repairing and maintaining electronic equipment, preferably in a manufacturing or service environment.
- Strong proficiency in using oscilloscopes, multimeters, soldering tools, and other diagnostic equipment.
- In-depth knowledge of circuitry, PCB repair, and troubleshooting methodologies for analog and digital systems.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and wiring diagrams.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a methodical approach to identifying and resolving technical issues.
- Familiarity with industry safety standards and protocols for handling electronic components.
- Strong communication skills in English, with the ability to document technical processes clearly.
