Responsibility
- Maintain and repair electrical and electronic systems onboard container vessels.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to navigation, communication, and automation systems.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to implement upgrades and modifications.
- Ensure compliance with international maritime regulations and safety standards.
- Monitor and optimize energy consumption and system performance.
- Document all maintenance activities and prepare technical reports.
- Provide training and guidance to junior technical staff.
Qualifications
- Valid ETO Certificate of Competency (CoC) or equivalent maritime qualification.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an ETO on container vessels or similar ships.
- Strong knowledge of electrical, electronic, and automation systems in maritime environments.
- Familiarity with international maritime regulations (SOLAS, MARPOL, etc.).
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a high-pressure environment.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken).
- Willingness to travel and work on a rotational basis.
