Responsibility
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on submarine electrical systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults, implementing effective repair solutions.
- Conduct inspections and testing of electrical components, including motors, generators, and control systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute maintenance schedules.
- Document all maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections in compliance with company and regulatory standards.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality assurance procedures during all operations.
- Provide technical support and training to junior engineers and technicians as needed.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in marine electrical engineering and apply best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical maintenance, preferably in marine or submarine environments.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including power distribution, control systems, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Familiarity with marine engineering standards and regulations.
