Responsibility
- Develop, implement, and maintain the Project Quality Plan (PQP) and Inspection and Test Plan (ITP) for electrical projects
- Conduct regular quality inspections and audits of electrical installations, ensuring compliance with international standards and project specifications
- Review and approve electrical drawings, schematics, and technical documents for accuracy and completeness
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to address quality issues and implement corrective actions
- Prepare detailed quality reports, including non-conformance reports (NCRs) and corrective action requests (CARs)
- Monitor and verify the implementation of quality control procedures throughout all project phases
- Ensure all electrical work complies with local regulations, safety standards, and client requirements
- Provide training and guidance to site teams on quality standards and best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Technology, or related field
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in QA/QC roles within the electrical or power industry
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes and standards (IEC, NEC, PUIL, or equivalent)
- Experience with quality management systems (ISO 9001 or similar) and inspection methodologies
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical drawings, schematics, and technical specifications
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail
- Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal)
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Certification in QA/QC or related field (e.g., ASQ, IRCA) is a plus
