Responsibility
- Lead and supervise a team of electrical engineers, technicians, and subcontractors to ensure project milestones are met on time and within budget.
- Develop, review, and approve electrical designs, schematics, and technical specifications in compliance with local and international standards (e.g., NEC, IEC).
- Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, and control systems.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and adherence to safety protocols (OSHA, PPE compliance).
- Coordinate with clients, architects, and other stakeholders to align project deliverables with expectations and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare and present progress reports, risk assessments, and cost analyses to senior management.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime and ensure system reliability.
- Mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the team.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field; a Masterâs degree or professional certification (e.g., P.E., CEng) is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical project management, with at least 2 years in a leadership role (PIC, Supervisor, or Manager).
- Proven track record of managing large-scale electrical projects from design to completion, preferably in Southeast Asia.
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and best practices (e.g., Indonesian PLN regulations, IEC 60364).
- Proficiency in electrical design software (e.g., AutoCAD, ETAP, Revit) and project management tools (e.g., Primavera, MS Project).
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills in English (Bahasa Indonesia is a plus).
- Ability to work under pressure, adapt to dynamic environments, and travel to project sites as needed.
