Responsibility
- Lead the engineering, installation, testing, and commissioning of HV/MV switchgear and transformer systems.
- Develop and review technical drawings, schematics, and project documentation.
- Ensure compliance with local and international electrical standards and safety regulations.
- Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and internal teams to ensure timely project delivery.
- Conduct site inspections and troubleshoot technical issues during installation and commissioning.
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive project reports, including progress updates and risk assessments.
- Provide technical guidance and training to junior engineers and on-site personnel.
- Collaborate with clients to understand requirements and deliver tailored solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in HV/MV switchgear and transformer projects.
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and safety protocols.
- Proven experience in project management, from planning to commissioning.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in CAD software and project management tools.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
