Responsibility
- Analyze technical drawings, specifications, and customer requirements to prepare accurate cost estimations for electrical panel projects.
- Collaborate with engineering and project teams to ensure cost estimates align with project scope, timelines, and quality standards.
- Develop detailed bills of materials (BOMs) and labor cost breakdowns for electrical panel systems, including components, wiring, and assembly.
- Conduct market research to stay updated on material costs, industry trends, and competitor pricing strategies.
- Prepare and present professional quotations to clients, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and competitiveness.
- Review and adjust cost estimates based on project changes, client feedback, or unforeseen challenges.
- Maintain organized records of cost estimates, revisions, and project documentation for future reference.
- Support project managers in budget tracking and cost control during project execution.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in cost estimation, electrical panel design, or project engineering, preferably in the electrical or manufacturing industry.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and electrical diagrams.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to perform detailed cost calculations and risk assessments.
- Experience with AutoCAD, ETAP, or other electrical design/estimation software is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal) for client interactions and team collaboration.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with Indonesian electrical standards (e.g., SNI, PUIL) and safety regulations is highly desirable.
