Responsibility
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on electrical and instrumentation systems to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and instrumentation faults using advanced diagnostic tools and techniques.
- Conduct regular inspections of plant machinery and equipment to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures.
- Install, calibrate, and maintain instrumentation devices, including sensors, transmitters, and control systems.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all maintenance and repair activities.
- Document maintenance activities, including work orders, repair logs, and equipment history records.
- Provide technical support and training to junior technicians and operational staff as needed.
Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical and instrumentation maintenance within an industrial or manufacturing setting.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, P&ID diagrams, and technical manuals.
- Strong knowledge of PLC systems, SCADA, and industrial automation technologies.
- Familiarity with safety standards and regulations, including OSHA and local electrical codes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
- Willingness to work in shifts and respond to emergency maintenance calls as required.
