Responsibility
- Manage, maintain, and inspect 11kV high-voltage switchgear, transformers, and distribution systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Conduct routine and preventive maintenance on electrical infrastructure, including circuit breakers, relays, and protection systems.
- Troubleshoot electrical faults, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.
- Ensure compliance with local and international electrical safety standards (e.g., PUIL, IEC, OSHA).
- Collaborate with engineering teams to design and implement electrical system upgrades or expansions.
- Monitor energy consumption and identify opportunities for efficiency improvements and cost savings.
- Prepare technical reports, documentation, and as-built drawings for electrical installations and modifications.
- Lead or support emergency response efforts during electrical failures or outages.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field; certification in high-voltage systems is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial electrical maintenance, with specific expertise in 11kV systems.
- Proven knowledge of switchgear, transformers, protection relays, and SCADA systems.
- Familiarity with electrical codes, standards, and safety protocols (e.g., Arc Flash, LOTO).
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in using electrical testing tools (e.g., megohmmeters, insulation testers, power analyzers).
- Excellent communication skills in English; ability to prepare clear technical documentation.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including on-call duties for emergency situations.
