Responsibility
- Design, develop, and maintain electrical systems and components for healthcare facilities, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and healthcare professionals to integrate electrical systems into facility designs.
- Conduct feasibility studies, site assessments, and risk analyses to optimize electrical system performance and safety.
- Prepare detailed technical drawings, schematics, and specifications using CAD software and other design tools.
- Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems, ensuring adherence to project timelines and quality standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues, providing technical support and solutions to maintain system reliability.
- Stay updated with advancements in electrical engineering technologies and healthcare industry trends to drive innovation.
- Ensure all electrical systems meet local and international safety codes, including those specific to healthcare environments.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field; a master’s degree is a plus.
- Proven experience (3+ years) in electrical system design, preferably within the healthcare or similar regulated industries.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit) and other engineering design tools.
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and regulations, including those specific to healthcare facilities.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to present technical information clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with project management, including planning, budgeting, and timeline adherence.
