Responsibility
- Assist in the design, construction, and maintenance of marine vessels and offshore structures under senior engineers’ guidance.
- Participate in shipyard operations, including fabrication, welding, and quality control processes.
- Support project planning, cost estimation, and timeline management for engineering assignments.
- Conduct technical research and contribute to feasibility studies for new maritime projects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and industry standards.
- Document project progress, prepare reports, and present findings to stakeholders.
- Engage in on-the-job training to master industry-specific software (e.g., CAD, AutoCAD, or naval architecture tools).
- Attend workshops, seminars, and networking events to expand industry knowledge and professional connections.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (or final-year student) in Mechanical Engineering, Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, or related fields.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a passion for maritime or offshore industries.
