Responsibility
- Design, develop, and maintain electrical systems for data center infrastructure, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute electrical projects, from conceptualization to implementation.
- Conduct site surveys, feasibility studies, and risk assessments to optimize electrical system performance and reliability.
- Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical equipment, including power distribution units, transformers, and backup systems.
- Monitor and troubleshoot electrical systems to identify and resolve issues, minimizing downtime and ensuring continuous operation.
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures to prolong the lifespan of electrical infrastructure.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to recommend improvements and innovations in data center electrical systems.
- Prepare technical documentation, reports, and presentations for stakeholders and regulatory bodies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field; Master's degree is a plus.
- Proven experience in electrical engineering, preferably within data center or IT infrastructure environments.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, power distribution, and backup solutions.
- Proficiency in using engineering software and tools for design, simulation, and analysis.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with teams and stakeholders.
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations, such as NEC, IEEE, and local electrical codes.
- Willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
