Responsibility
- Plan, design, and oversee the installation of electrical systems for construction projects.
- Ensure all electrical works comply with local and international safety regulations and quality standards.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineers to integrate electrical systems seamlessly into project designs.
- Conduct regular inspections and tests to verify the functionality and safety of electrical installations.
- Prepare and review technical drawings, specifications, and project documentation.
- Manage project timelines and budgets related to electrical works, ensuring timely and cost-effective completion.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any electrical issues that arise during construction or post-completion.
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and on-site teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Electrical Engineer, preferably in the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and safety regulations.
- Proficiency in using design and simulation software such as AutoCAD, ETAP, or similar tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks efficiently.
- Certification or licensure as a Professional Engineer (PE) is a plus.
