As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and implementing electrical systems for high-voltage and UPS applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure projects meet technical specifications, safety standards, and client requirements. With a base salary of $4,500 – $5,500 per month, plus AWS, bonuses, and Grab reimbursement, this role offers both financial rewards and professional growth.

Responsibility
- Design and develop electrical systems for UPS and high-voltage applications, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Prepare detailed engineering drawings, schematics, and technical specifications for electrical systems.
- Conduct feasibility studies, load calculations, and system analyses to optimize electrical designs.
- Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and clients to ensure project requirements are met on time and within budget.
- Perform site inspections and troubleshoot electrical issues to ensure system reliability and safety.
- Review and approve vendor submissions, including equipment specifications and installation plans.
- Provide technical support during the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in electrical engineering.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field; professional certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical design, with a focus on UPS and high-voltage systems.
- Proficient in electrical design software such as AutoCAD, ETAP, or similar tools.
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and safety regulations (e.g., NEC, IEC).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail in technical documentation.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills to liaise with stakeholders and present technical information clearly.
- Willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
