Responsibility
- Design and develop electrical control systems for elevator and escalator products according to international standards (EN, IEC, ASME)
- Create and review electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation using CAD software
- Collaborate with mechanical engineers and software teams to integrate electrical systems with overall product design
- Perform electrical calculations and simulations to ensure system reliability and safety
- Conduct risk assessments and implement safety measures for electrical components and systems
- Participate in design reviews and provide technical expertise to cross-functional teams
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical design issues during product development and testing phases
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends in vertical transportation systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in electrical design, preferably in the elevator or vertical transportation industry
- Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN, or similar)
- Strong knowledge of electrical standards and regulations (EN 81, IEC 60204, etc.)
- Experience with control systems, motor drives, and power distribution for industrial applications
- Familiarity with PLC programming and industrial communication protocols (Modbus, CANopen, etc.)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal)
