Responsibility
- Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems, including distribution panels, transformers, generators, and backup power systems to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance to identify potential issues and mitigate risks before they impact facility operations.
- Ensure compliance with local electrical codes, safety regulations, and industry standards (e.g., SNI, PUIL, OSHA) through accurate documentation and reporting.
- Respond promptly to electrical emergencies, diagnose faults, and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime and operational disruptions.
- Collaborate with facility managers, contractors, and vendors to coordinate electrical projects, upgrades, and installations.
- Develop and maintain electrical system documentation, including schematics, maintenance logs, and compliance records.
- Train and supervise junior technicians or support staff to ensure adherence to safety protocols and best practices.
- Recommend energy-efficient solutions and sustainable practices to reduce operational costs and environmental impact.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent technical certification (e.g., SKKNI, BNSP).
- Minimum 3 years of experience in electrical maintenance, facility management, or a related field, with exposure to commercial or industrial environments.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including LV/MV distribution, generators, UPS, and control panels.
- Familiarity with electrical safety standards (e.g., PUIL, SNI, IEC) and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in using electrical testing tools (e.g., multimeters, insulation testers, thermal imaging cameras).
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in emergency situations.
- Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal); Bahasa Indonesia is a plus.
- Valid electrical license or certification (e.g., SKT, SIUJK) is highly desirable.
