Responsibility
- Develop, implement, and monitor EHS policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local, national, and international regulations.
- Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.
- Lead safety training programs for employees, contractors, and management to promote a culture of safety awareness.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses, and prepare detailed reports with actionable recommendations.
- Collaborate with operational teams to integrate EHS best practices into daily workflows and processes.
- Monitor and report on EHS performance metrics, including KPIs, to drive continuous improvement.
- Ensure proper handling, storage, and disposal of hazardous materials in accordance with environmental regulations.
- Stay updated on emerging EHS trends, technologies, and regulations to ensure Givaudan remains at the forefront of industry standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in EHS roles, preferably in manufacturing, chemical, or FMCG industries.
- Strong knowledge of Indonesian EHS regulations (e.g., K3, AMDAL, PPNS) and international standards (e.g., ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001).
- Certification in EHS (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA, or equivalent) is highly desirable.
- Proven ability to conduct risk assessments, audits, and incident investigations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and EHS management software.
- Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia; additional languages are a plus.
