ENGIE Group is currently seeking a highly motivated EHS Officer to join our team in Jurong East. In this role, you will play a critical part in maintaining the highest standards of safety, health, and environmental compliance at a high-priority healthcare facility.

As an EHS Officer, you will not only be responsible for administrative compliance but will also act as a proactive driver of safety culture. You will work closely with site management, contractors, and healthcare staff to identify risks, implement mitigation strategies, and ensure that our operations exceed regulatory requirements. Responsibility

  • Develop, implement, and monitor site-specific EHS policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Conduct regular site inspections and internal audits to ensure compliance with Ministry of Manpower (MOM) and NEA regulations.
  • Coordinate and lead emergency response drills, including fire safety and medical evacuation protocols.
  • Perform comprehensive risk assessments (HIRA) for all operational activities and healthcare facility maintenance tasks.
  • Manage the incident reporting process, conducting root-cause analysis and implementing effective corrective actions.
  • Facilitate EHS training programs to enhance safety awareness among staff and on-site contractors.
  • Maintain all relevant safety documentation and ensure record-keeping is audit-ready at all times.

Qualifications

  • Possess a minimum of a Diploma in Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) or an Advanced Certificate in WSH.
  • Registered WSH Officer with the Ministry of Manpower (MOM) is highly preferred.
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in EHS roles, preferably within the healthcare, facility management, or construction sectors.
  • Deep understanding of local Singapore WSH legislation, environmental regulations, and healthcare industry safety standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate complex safety requirements into actionable operational plans.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite and safety management reporting software.
