Responsibility
- Develop, implement, and maintain EHS policies, procedures, and programs in compliance with Indonesian regulations (e.g., K3, ISO 45001, ISO 14001) and industry best practices.
- Conduct regular workplace inspections, risk assessments, and audits to identify hazards and recommend corrective actions.
- Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and reporting to prevent recurrence and ensure compliance with legal requirements.
- Organize and deliver EHS training programs for employees at all levels, including emergency response, fire safety, and chemical handling.
- Monitor environmental performance, including waste management, emissions, and resource conservation, to minimize ecological impact.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., operations, HR, engineering) to integrate EHS considerations into daily operations and project planning.
- Maintain accurate EHS documentation, including permits, reports, and records, for internal and external audits.
- Stay updated on emerging EHS trends, regulations, and technologies to drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field. Masterâs degree or professional certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA, ISO 45001 Lead Auditor) are a plus.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in EHS roles within manufacturing, logistics, or industrial sectors.
- In-depth knowledge of Indonesian EHS regulations (e.g., PP No. 50/2012, Permenaker No. 5/2018) and international standards (ISO 45001, ISO 14001).
- Proven ability to conduct risk assessments, audits, and incident investigations with a data-driven approach.
- Excellent communication and training skills to engage employees at all levels and foster a safety-first culture.
- Proficiency in EHS management software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong problem-solving and project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia is required; additional languages are a plus.
