As an EHS Coordinator, you will conduct comprehensive workplace inspections, risk assessments, and incident investigations to identify and mitigate hazards. You will also coordinate and implement safety programs, ensuring compliance with local and international EHS standards. Responsibility
- Conduct regular workplace inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with EHS regulations.
- Perform risk assessments and develop strategies to mitigate identified risks.
- Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action plans to prevent recurrence.
- Coordinate and implement safety training programs for employees to promote a culture of safety.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, incidents, and training sessions.
- Collaborate with management to develop and update EHS policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with local, national, and international EHS regulations.
- Monitor environmental impacts and implement measures to minimize the company’s ecological footprint.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health and Safety, Occupational Health, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in EHS coordination or a similar role.
- Certification in EHS (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA) is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of EHS regulations and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to conduct training sessions and engage with employees at all levels.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and EHS management software.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
