Responsibility
- Conduct thorough pre-purchase inspections of vehicles, including mechanical, electrical, and cosmetic evaluations.
- Document and report vehicle conditions using digital inspection tools and standardized checklists.
- Identify and assess defects, damages, or discrepancies, providing accurate and unbiased evaluations.
- Ensure compliance with Carsome’s quality standards and local regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with sales and operations teams to resolve inspection-related queries and discrepancies.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of automotive technologies, models, and common issues in the market.
- Provide clear, detailed reports and recommendations for vehicle pricing and refurbishment needs.
- Uphold safety protocols and best practices during all inspection processes.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in automotive inspection, mechanical work, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of vehicle mechanics, diagnostics, and repair processes.
- Certification in automotive technology or inspection (e.g., ASE, local equivalents) is a plus.
- Proficient in using digital tools and software for documentation and reporting.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Strong communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to inspection sites as needed.
