Responsibility
- Oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety standards.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits of electrical equipment to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
- Lead and mentor a team of technicians, providing guidance and training to enhance their technical skills and knowledge.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of electrical assets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and execute engineering projects that improve system efficiency and reliability.
- Ensure compliance with local and international electrical codes, regulations, and industry best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical issues in a timely manner to maintain uninterrupted operations.
- Prepare and maintain accurate documentation, including technical reports, maintenance logs, and compliance records.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field; certification as a Chargeman (B0) is required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on industrial or power plant operations.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including power distribution, control systems, and safety protocols.
- Proven leadership skills with experience managing and developing technical teams.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing electrical issues.
- Familiarity with relevant software and tools for electrical design, analysis, and maintenance.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
