Join Clarks, a global leader in footwear and fashion, as an EDI Developer in the vibrant and dynamic environment of Bali, Indonesia. In this pivotal role, you will design, develop, and maintain Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) systems to streamline business-to-business (B2B) communications, ensuring seamless data integration between Clarks and its partners, suppliers, and retailers.

As an EDI Developer, you will play a key role in enhancing operational efficiency, reducing manual processes, and improving data accuracy across our supply chain and retail networks. This is a unique opportunity to work with a globally recognized brand while enjoying the work-life balance and cultural richness that Bali offers. If you are passionate about data integration, automation, and system optimization, we invite you to apply and be part of our mission to deliver excellence in every step.

Responsibility

  • Map, translate, and integrate EDI transactions (e.g., purchase orders, invoices, shipping notices) using industry standards like ANSI X12, EDIFACT, or XML.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (IT, Supply Chain, Finance) to identify EDI requirements and ensure alignment with business processes.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve EDI-related issues, including data errors, transmission failures, and compliance gaps.
  • Optimize existing EDI workflows to improve efficiency, scalability, and data accuracy.
  • Stay updated with EDI best practices and emerging technologies to recommend improvements and innovations.
  • Document EDI processes, mappings, and configurations for internal knowledge sharing and audits.
  • Provide technical support and training to internal stakeholders on EDI systems and protocols.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience as an EDI Developer or in a similar role, with hands-on expertise in EDI standards (ANSI X12, EDIFACT, AS2).
  • Proficiency in EDI software/tools (e.g., IBM Sterling, MuleSoft, Boomi, or custom-built solutions).
  • Strong knowledge of integration protocols (HTTP/S, SFTP, AS2) and data formats (XML, JSON, CSV).
  • Experience with API development and middleware platforms to support hybrid EDI-API integrations.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and supply chain management processes.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to debug complex EDI transactions.
