Responsibility
- Monitor and operate hyperscale data center infrastructure, including HVAC, power distribution, and UPS systems through the Enterprise Command Center (ECC).
- Conduct regular facility walk-throughs to inspect equipment status and identify potential infrastructure risks.
- Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, performing initial troubleshooting to minimize downtime and maintain Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Execute Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Method of Procedures (MOPs) to ensure safe maintenance practices.
- Coordinate with on-site vendors and sub-contractors during scheduled maintenance or emergency repairs.
- Maintain comprehensive shift logs and technical documentation for all facility performance metrics.
- Participate in emergency response drills and safety compliance audits to uphold stringent data center standards.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Mechatronics Engineering (Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply).
- Basic understanding of data center critical infrastructure, including chillers, CRAHs, generators, and HV/LV distribution.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure during emergency situations.
- Excellent communication skills with proficiency in English and Malay to coordinate effectively across teams.
- Willingness to work on a rotating shift pattern to support 24/7 mission-critical operations.
- Demonstrated commitment to safety, compliance, and operational excellence.
- Previous experience with Building Management Systems (BMS) or DCIM software is considered a strong advantage.
