Responsibility
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of children’s developmental needs, including motor, communication, and cognitive skills.
- Design and implement individualized intervention plans tailored to each child’s strengths and challenges.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (e.g., therapists, educators, and healthcare professionals) to ensure holistic support.
- Provide counseling and guidance to families, empowering them with strategies to support their child’s development at home.
- Monitor and document progress through regular evaluations and adjust interventions as needed.
- Organize and facilitate group therapy sessions and workshops for children and caregivers.
- Advocate for children’s rights and access to resources within the community.
- Stay updated on best practices in early intervention and child development through continuous professional development.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Early Childhood Education, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in early intervention, child development, or social work, preferably in a multicultural setting.
- Strong knowledge of developmental milestones, behavioral interventions, and therapeutic techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with children, families, and professionals.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in English (written and spoken); knowledge of Indonesian or other languages is a plus.
- Passion for working with children with special needs and a commitment to inclusive education.
- Familiarity with local regulations and resources in Bali related to child welfare and education.
