As a Teaching Assistant at SEEd Academy, you'll play a pivotal role in creating a nurturing, stimulating, and safe environment for our youngest learners (ages 2-6). You'll work alongside experienced educators to implement our innovative curriculum, which blends play-based learning with structured activities to develop cognitive, social, emotional, and physical skills. Responsibility

  • Assist lead teachers in implementing daily lesson plans and educational activities for children aged 2-6
  • Create a safe, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning
  • Support children in developing social skills, emotional regulation, and independence through guided activities
  • Assist with classroom management, including organizing materials, setting up learning stations, and maintaining a clean environment
  • Observe and document children's progress, behaviors, and developmental milestones
  • Collaborate with parents and caregivers to provide updates on children's development and address any concerns
  • Assist with meal times, nap routines, and personal care (e.g., toileting, handwashing) as needed
  • Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities

Qualifications

  • Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent; early childhood education certification or degree is a plus
  • At least 1 year of experience working with young children in a childcare or educational setting
  • Strong understanding of early childhood development principles and best practices
  • Excellent communication skills in English; proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia is an advantage
  • Patience, creativity, and a genuine love for working with children
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • Flexibility to work in different locations across Bali as needed
