Responsibility
- Design and implement engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development.
- Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
- Assess and monitor children’s progress, providing personalized feedback to parents and guardians.
- Collaborate with fellow educators to develop thematic units and interdisciplinary projects.
- Incorporate multicultural and bilingual elements into teaching to reflect Bali’s diverse community.
- Organize and lead extracurricular activities, such as art, music, and outdoor play.
- Maintain open and transparent communication with parents regarding their child’s development and well-being.
- Stay updated on best practices in early childhood education and participate in professional development workshops.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Psychology, or a related field (or equivalent certification).
- Minimum 2 years of experience working with children aged 2-6 in a preschool or daycare setting.
- Strong understanding of child development theories and play-based learning methodologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage children, parents, and colleagues effectively.
- Fluency in English (additional languages, such as Indonesian or Mandarin, are a plus).
- Patience, creativity, and a genuine passion for working with young children.
- Familiarity with Montessori, Reggio Emilia, or other progressive early education approaches is advantageous.
- Willingness to relocate to Bali and adapt to a multicultural work environment.
