Responsibility
- Design and implement age-appropriate, engaging lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards.
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that promotes social, emotional, and cognitive development.
- Assess and monitor childrenâs progress, providing personalized feedback to parents and guardians.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary projects and extracurricular activities.
- Incorporate play-based learning and creative teaching methods to enhance student engagement.
- Maintain open communication with parents, addressing concerns and sharing insights on their childâs development.
- Participate in staff meetings, workshops, and professional development programs.
- Uphold school policies, safety protocols, and ethical standards in all interactions.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Early Childhood Education, Pedagogy, or a related field (TEFL/TESOL certification is a plus).
- Minimum 2 years of experience teaching preschool or kindergarten-aged children.
- Strong understanding of child development theories and best practices in early education.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with fluency in English (Bahasa Indonesia is advantageous).
- Patience, creativity, and a genuine passion for working with young children.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to diverse learning styles and cultural backgrounds.
- First Aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain one).
- Familiarity with Montessori, Reggio Emilia, or other progressive teaching approaches is a plus.
