Responsibility
- Provide personalized academic advising to Chinese students, guiding them on course selection, degree requirements, and academic policies.
- Assist students with visa applications, renewals, and compliance with Indonesian immigration regulations.
- Organize and coordinate orientation programs, cultural integration activities, and student workshops to enhance the student experience.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for student inquiries, concerns, and grievances, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
- Collaborate with faculty, administrative staff, and external partners to streamline student support processes.
- Develop and implement student engagement initiatives, including mentorship programs and extracurricular activities.
- Maintain accurate student records and databases, ensuring confidentiality and data integrity.
- Monitor student progress and intervene proactively to address academic or personal challenges.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, International Relations, Social Sciences, or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in student affairs, academic advising, or international education support.
- Fluency in Mandarin and English (written and verbal) is mandatory; proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia is advantageous.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with students from diverse backgrounds.
- Familiarity with visa regulations, immigration processes, and student support systems in Indonesia or similar contexts.
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, student information systems (SIS), and CRM tools.
- Demonstrated cultural sensitivity and adaptability in working with international populations.
