Responsibility
- Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities that promote cognitive, social, and emotional development.
- Provide a safe, clean, and stimulating environment for infants and young children.
- Monitor and document each child’s progress, ensuring developmental milestones are met.
- Collaborate with parents and guardians to support children’s learning and well-being.
- Follow established policies and procedures to maintain high standards of care and education.
- Engage in continuous professional development to stay updated with best practices in early childhood education.
- Assist in maintaining classroom materials, equipment, and supplies.
- Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere that encourages creativity and curiosity.
Qualifications
- Certification in HCIC, ACEY, FECCE, or equivalent in early childhood education.
- Diploma or Degree in Early Childhood Care & Education (DECCE) preferred.
- Prior experience working with infants and young children in an educational setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Patience, creativity, and a genuine passion for early childhood development.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Knowledge of child safety protocols and first aid is a plus.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage.
