Responsibility
- Greet and seat guests with a warm, professional demeanor, ensuring a welcoming first impression.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, including special requests or dietary restrictions, and relay them efficiently to the kitchen.
- Serve dishes and drinks promptly, adhering to presentation standards and ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Monitor table needs, anticipate requests, and provide attentive service throughout the dining experience.
- Process payments accurately using POS systems and handle cash/credit transactions with integrity.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked workstation, including setting tables and replenishing supplies.
- Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure seamless service and resolve any guest concerns promptly.
- Upsell menu items, promotions, or specials to enhance guest experience and revenue.
Qualifications
- Proven experience (1+ years) as a Waiter/Waitress in a high-volume restaurant, hotel, or resort.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English (additional languages are a plus).
- Strong multitasking abilities with a keen eye for detail in a fast-paced environment.
- Friendly, outgoing personality with a genuine passion for hospitality and customer service.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Basic knowledge of food safety, hygiene standards, and beverage service (e.g., wine, cocktails).
- Physical stamina to stand/walk for extended periods and lift/carry trays or supplies (up to 10 kg).
- Prior experience with POS systems (e.g., Square, Toast) is advantageous.
