Responsibility
- Greet and seat guests with a warm, professional demeanor, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, including special requests or dietary restrictions, and relay them efficiently to the kitchen.
- Serve dishes and drinks promptly, adhering to presentation standards and ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Provide attentive and personalized service, anticipating guest needs and offering recommendations from our menu.
- Handle payments and process transactions accurately using POS systems, including cash and card payments.
- Maintain a clean and organized dining area, including setting tables, replenishing supplies, and assisting with side duties.
- Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure seamless service and resolve any guest concerns promptly.
- Uphold high standards of hygiene, safety, and professionalism in accordance with restaurant policies.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a waiter/waitress or customer service role is a plus, but not required—training provided!
- Excellent communication skills in English; additional languages (e.g., Indonesian, Dutch, French) are a bonus.
- Friendly, outgoing personality with a genuine passion for hospitality and guest satisfaction.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and remain calm under pressure.
- Strong attention to detail, especially in order accuracy and table presentation.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed (part-time schedule).
- Neat and professional appearance, adhering to the restaurant’s dress code.
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage service, including wine or cocktail pairings, is advantageous.
