Responsibility
- Supervise and lead a team of engineering staff, ensuring punctuality, professionalism, and high-quality performance.
- Oversee the daily operation, maintenance, and repair of all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems across the resort.
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify and address potential issues before they impact guest experience.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols, ensuring compliance with local regulations and international hospitality standards.
- Manage energy efficiency initiatives and sustainable practices to reduce operational costs and environmental impact.
- Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for specialized repairs or installations.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inventory of spare parts, and equipment lifecycle management.
- Provide emergency engineering support 24/7, ensuring rapid response to critical issues.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role within the hospitality or luxury resort industry.
- Strong technical knowledge of HVAC, electrical systems, plumbing, and building automation.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to train, mentor, and manage a diverse team.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to maintenance and repairs.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken); knowledge of Indonesian is a plus.
- Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) is advantageous.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
