Responsibility
- Coordinate the end-to-end production workflow for educational publications, ensuring adherence to strict editorial deadlines.
- Perform meticulous proofreading and quality assurance checks on manuscripts and final layouts to ensure zero-error output.
- Prepare and format digital files for print readiness, ensuring compatibility with production specifications.
- Collaborate with editorial and design teams to refine layouts, illustrations, and typography for various educational modules.
- Manage project documentation and track the progress of ongoing publications using internal administrative systems.
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to the production team to streamline daily operations.
- Coordinate with external printers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of print-ready assets.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Graphic Design, Publishing, Communications, or a related field.
- Proven experience in Desktop Publishing (DTP) or administrative support roles, preferably within the publishing industry.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) and Microsoft Office.
- Strong command of English, with exceptional attention to detail in proofreading and editing.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- A proactive mindset with the ability to troubleshoot production issues independently.
- Understanding of print production standards and digital file management.
