Responsibility
- Conduct drive tests to evaluate network coverage, capacity, and quality in assigned regions (4G/5G, VoLTE, etc.).
- Collect and analyze KPI data (RSSI, SINR, throughput, handover success rate, etc.) using industry-standard tools (e.g., TEMS, XCAL, Nemo).
- Identify and troubleshoot network issues, including interference, poor signal strength, and dropped calls.
- Generate detailed post-drive test reports with actionable recommendations for network optimization.
- Collaborate with RF engineers and network planners to implement improvements and validate fixes.
- Perform benchmarking tests against competitor networks to assess performance gaps.
- Maintain and calibrate drive test equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Stay updated on emerging telecom technologies and industry best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in drive testing, RF optimization, or network engineering.
- Proficiency in drive test tools such as TEMS Discovery, XCAL, Nemo Outdoor, or similar.
- Strong understanding of LTE/5G, GSM, UMTS, and VoLTE network architectures.
- Experience with data analysis and visualization (Excel, Python, or SQL is a plus).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within Bali and other regions as needed.
- Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal).
