Responsibility
- Develop detailed 3D models and shop drawings for precast concrete structures using Tekla Structures and Revit.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers to ensure accurate and constructible designs.
- Review and interpret architectural and structural drawings to create precise detailing models.
- Generate fabrication and assembly drawings with clear annotations and dimensions.
- Perform clash detection and resolve design conflicts to ensure seamless construction processes.
- Maintain and organize project documentation, including revisions and as-built drawings.
- Stay updated with industry standards, software updates, and best practices in structural detailing.
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior draftspersons and team members.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- Proven experience (2+ years) in structural detailing using Tekla Structures and/or Revit.
- Strong understanding of precast concrete design, reinforcement detailing, and construction methodologies.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting architectural and structural drawings.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce accurate, high-quality models and drawings.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Knowledge of BIM (Building Information Modeling) principles is a plus.
- Familiarity with local and international building codes and standards.
