Responsibility
- Manage and maintain a centralized document control system for construction projects, ensuring version accuracy and accessibility.
- Coordinate with project teams to collect, review, and distribute engineering drawings, contracts, and compliance documents.
- Ensure all documentation adheres to ISO standards and internal quality management protocols.
- Implement and monitor document retention policies in alignment with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Facilitate audits by preparing and organizing required documentation for internal and external reviews.
- Train staff on document management best practices and system utilization.
- Resolve discrepancies in documentation and escalate issues to relevant stakeholders.
- Generate reports on document status, compliance metrics, and process improvements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related fields; certification in Document Control or ISO standards is a plus.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in document control, preferably in construction or engineering sectors.
- Proficiency in document management software (e.g., SharePoint, Aconex, or ProjectWise).
- Strong understanding of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, or other relevant compliance frameworks.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
- Familiarity with construction terminology and workflows is highly desirable.
